Turmeric is the ingredient whose healing benefit is most often documented, although ginger, cinnamon and the other spices enhance the health benefits of this spice blend.
Both Ayurvedic and traditional Chinese medicine have used turmeric since ancient times to open blood vessels, improve blood circulation and decrease inflammation.
How to Use: Add 3-4 tsp of this healing spice blend to 2 cups of your favorite milk. I use 1/2 heavy cream & 1/2 unsweetened coconut milk on a ketogenic diet, but the type of milk (or water) you use is simply a preference. Add a sweetener if desired. Many people add honey, but the beautiful thing about a spice blend is you can design the drink with your sweetener of choice.
