Smoked cherry shrub syrup is a natural fit with bourbon or rye for an easy gourmet cocktail (think Manhattans or Old Fashions). I like to use 1/2 oz. shrub syrup with every 2 oz. of spirit. This is also wonderful as a salad dressing (just add a little oil).
Ingredients: Smoked Montmorency cherries, apple cider vinegar, organic cane sugar.
The shrub syrups are shelf-stable, so they’ll last indefinitely unopened, and 6-8 weeks or longer once opened if refrigerated.
