Tart Montmorency Cherries have been smoked with hickory and then made into a delectable shrub syrup. A natural fit with bourbon or rye for an easy gourmet cocktail (think Manhattans or Old Fashions). I like to use 1/2 oz. shrub syrup with every 2 oz of spirit. This is also wonderful as a salad dressing (just add a little oil).
Ingredients: Smoked Montmorency cherries, apple cider vinegar, organic cane sugar.
