Green Teas & White Teas
Green Teas:
Green tea is a type of tea that is made from Camellia sinensis leaves and buds that have not undergone the same withering and oxidation process which is used to make oolong teas and black teas. It is usually made from the tender top two leaves and buds of the tea plant, and is quickly dried to keep the green color and fresh flavor.
White Teas:
White teas are the least processed of any tea category. Only the bud or top leaves and bud are plucked and allowed to wither and dry. This minimal processing and low oxidation results in some of the most delicate and freshest tea available.
White tea leaves brew a light, champagne color that delivers light notes of honeysuckle in every cup. For a darker color, you can steep the tea for a longer period of time.
